The article studies the polymorphism of BGH, LEP marker genes in Simmental cows. The association of polymorphism of the studied candidate genes with indicators of milk productivity and qualitative composition (protein content, amount of milk fat and protein) was studied. The desired genotypes of marker genes in association with economically useful features of Simmental cattle have been established. The interrelationships of economically useful features in animals of the Simmental breed were studied depending on the genotypes BGH, LEP. During the research, the results were obtained indicating a significant effect of different genotypes of genes BGH, LEP, exerted on the milk productivity of Simmental cows. The data obtained supplement and expand the already existing information about the forms of associative-useful features with different genotypes of BGH, LEP genes. The results can introduce into the program of selection and breeding activities for improving the genetic potential of Simmental cattle.
