This paper presents part of a monographic research and a theme development in a supervised trainee practice in High school. It presents the key topics about the contemporary painting, using as reference works of Daniel Senise and Karin Lambrecht. The paper also describes the approach used in the trainee project in which we tried to provide the students the oportunity to improve their knowledge about the contemporary art through a theorical and practical experience on the work of the previously mentioned artists
