This study aims at discussing, within the theoretical framework of Systemic Functional Linguistics, Halliday (1994), Halliday and Matthiessen (2004), the language of the blogs of English language teachers using as corpus the text, that means, the written discourse as semantic realizations of speakers/writers and their interlocutors. Focusing on the ideational metafunction we have analyzed the semantic \udrealizations articulated to the representations of the processes: material, mental and experiential (HALLIDAY, 1994). In this sense, the text/discourse of the blogs constitutes of the semantic possibilities that mean the purposes of one systemic unit in which the way language functions takes a text/discourse to come ‘meaning what it means’. It other words, there is in the blogs one peculiar dynamic that comes/takes place in the text/written discourse as a way of meaning. The data showed that the semantic realizations of the participants represent meanings about their experience in relation to the English teaching and the use of technology in the classroom
