The fairy tales are remaining from the old storytellers that travelers and narrated to nobles and commoners. These narratives remained in our literature, being modified all over the years. An example of this process is the narrative “The Sleeping Beauty” which has three different versions written by Giambattista Basile, Charles Perrault and Brothers Grimm. However, its essence has always been kept. The \udnarrative was adapted into movie in 1959, by Disney, focusing on the curse on the princess and the struggl\ude between good and evil, represented by the prince and the \udwitch, and in 2014, the movie “Maleficent”, in which the focus is on the "villain", a fairy who changed from the light to darkness because of a deep disappointment. This character is the focus of our discussion, reflecting about her development from the myth of Sleeping Beauty
