This text deals with the relation between History writing and literary writing. Based on the approach of a concrete and contemporary form of literary writing, the book “Água Viva” by Clarice Lispector, aims to rupture with the common practice observed on this matter, and debated among historians in recent years, which is to oppose a generic and timeless Historiography to a Literature also seen and considered as homogeneous, universal and timeless, a rather strange and questionable\udact from historians. Considering a specific form, historically located, of literary writing, this text analyses to what extent it can effectively be used as a model to the writing of the historiographical text, if the way how this literary narrative is shaped and shapes temporality is compatible with the rules that rule the production of time and narrative by historians
