This paper presents brings an evaluation and description of 11 points that represent the geological-geomorphological evolution as well as demonstrate the relationship between geodiversity and biodiversity present in the geosite Guaritas do Camaquã, in center-south of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. The points are connected along with a system of four interpretive trails with different levels of difficulty. Such research aims to contribute to the development of geotourism at Caçapava do Sul, as one of the necessary actions in territories aspiring to UNESCO certification as Global Geopark.
