Uzbekistan is paying great attention to the improvement of the human resource management system, where employee job satisfaction is playing a significant role. This paper to a certain degree seeks to fulfill the tasks defined in the decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, namely: decree No. UP-4947 "On the strategy of actions for the further development of the Republic of Uzbekistan», dated 7 February, 2017 (UP 4947, 2017); and No.UP-5843 "On measures to radically improve personnel policy and the system of state civil service in the Republic of Uzbekistan» dated 3 October, 2019 (UP-5843, 2019). The main objective of this paper is to study the job satisfaction factors among academic staff in a University, located in Uzbekistan, Tashkent. Online survey was used to collect data from the respondents. In conclusion, the survey results will be presented along with the findings and recommendations.
