Periodismo y bohemia

En las últimas décadas del siglo XIX y primeras del XX se produjo en Madrid, a imitación de París, un movimiento transversal que llamó la atención de la sociedad española. Fue la llamada bohemia, que dejó una imagen frívola de vida desordenada, estética extravagante e inconformista y un rechazo frontal a los valores y costumbres convencionales. Se trataba de un cumplido grupo de jóvenes literatos rebeldes e insumisos que pululaban por los cafés y las redacciones de los periódicos. A éstas iban porque en la prensa estaba, aunque precaria, su única fuente de ingresos. Fueron los primeros colaboradores, los primeros free lance.
