Fuentes periodísticas y redes sociales en las noticias de Marta del Castillo

Este artículo analiza la utilización que los medios informativos digitales han hecho de las redes sociales como fuente en las noticias sobre el asesinato de Marta del Castillo y en el discurso elaborado paralelamente sobre ellas. En la mayoría de las informaciones que se han investigado los medios presentan a las redes sociales como un factor peligroso y desencadenante en la desaparición de la joven. Por otro lado, al mismo tiempo, dichas redes son utilizadas por los periodistas como fuentes principales para nutrir sus informaciones.The present paper analyses the use that news media made of social networks as sources in the case of “Marta del Castillo” and the communication parallel developed by them. This paper analyses information and image social networks had in the reports and discourse of the media. Although the journalist used social networks as primary sources of information for their reports, they present these networks as being dangerous and playing a key role in the disappearance of the young woman
