The infants Isabel Clara Eugenia and Catalina Micaela de Habsburgo y Valois, embodied, with their culture and distinction, the model of the well educated princess. Daughters of Philip II and Isabel de Valois, they received a careful education, reflection of the power of the absolute monarch Philip II. Therefore, this article analyses the education of the infants, their knowledge, their virtues and the manners that exalted the figure of the Infanta of Spain and the institution she personified.Las infantas Isabel Clara Eugenia y Catalina Micaela de Habsburgo y Valois, encarnaron, con su cultura y distinción, el modelo de la princesa educada e instruida.
