Ser noble en la España de Alfonso XIII

Durante el reinado de Alfonso XIII el número de ennoblecimientos fue numeroso, en especial a partir de 1914. Este proceso es de gran interés debido a las estrategias que lo configuraron: por parte del Monarca, quien buscó crear referencias a lo largo del territorio nacional, y por parte de los interesados que ansiaban la titulación. El estudio de estos ennoblecimientos nos acerca a un grupo social olvidado casi siempre por la historiografía, el cual no quedó al margen de la modernización.From 1914, the number of ennoblements during the kingdom of Alfonso XIII was especially high. The interest of the process was given by the strategies developed in it: on the one hand, the King pretended to establish references all around the country and, on the other hand,the candidates who looked for the distinction. The investigation about these ennoblements approaches us to a social group many times forgotten by Spanish historiography, which did not stand aside of modernization
