The article considers examples of tasks for the formation of natural scienceliteracy of 7th grade students in accordance with the objectives of teaching in achemistry lesson. Attention is drawn to the fact that the content of education is a wayof developing a student's functional literacy, instilling knowledge in a practicalsituation and social adaptation, the ability to correlate these situations with everydaylife, through interpretation, analysis, analysis, ordering of data in the form of text,graph or table
