Objective: to evaluate the clinical accuracy of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons Score in predicting mortality and postoperative complications in-hospital patients undergoing heart surgery at the Cardiology Institute of RS/Fundação Universitária de Cardiologia. Method: a cohort study from quantitative approach.
