The paper deals with the modality of nominal sentence of phraseological model with deverbative and particle «not» in the predicate. The role of the negative particle in the interaction with different ways of deverbative formation in the formation of expression and subjective modal meanings in sentences of this type is considered, the connection of modal meanings with the category of the person.
