During childhood, the formation and differentiation of the main morphofunctional systems of the body takes place, mechanisms of adaptation to environmental conditions are formed. The adaptive capabilities of junior schoolchildren of the city of Astrakhan at the age of 7 years (of them 17 boys (56,7%) and 13 girls (43,3%) were studied, taking into account their vegetative status.
