The article provides an assessment of the implementation of the pilot project «Electronic Residency» in Kazakhstan. Certain difficulties were identified in the process of project implementation, including issues related to the assignment of electronic identification of a resident. Measures are proposed to optimize the process of identification and registration, verification, and control of obtaining e-residency.
