This article is dedicated to searching for ways to intensify the process of teaching the Russian language to Arabian students. One of the best ways to make teaching more effective would be to introduce a credit-based scoring system to control students’ knowledge. This system will contain tests and tasks, which will motivate students to work more actively and effectively during Russian language lessons in order to increase their final grade. It will also stimulate development of the students’ communication skills.
