The article is devoted to the actual problem of substantiating the criminal liability of medical workers. In this paper, the author substantiates the need to define clear and distinct criteria for distinguishing criminal and positive behavior in the provision of professional medical care. The author provides data from a survey of employees of the Investigative Committee of Russia, thereby empirically confirming the validity and significance of the conclusions contained in the article.
