The article is devoted to the review of scientific activity and works of the doctor of philological sciences, professor Z.K. Temirgazina and is dedicated to her 60th anniversary. She deals with theoretical problems of linguistic axiology and pragmatic linguistics, which her monographs and articles are devoted to including the international collective monographs Linguistic Axiology, Pragmalinguistics, and Gender Linguistics published under her editorship. In the last decade, pedagogical and political discourses as well as applied aspects of linguistics, in particular, the problems of multilingual education in Kazakhstani schools and their educational and methodological support have become the subject of her scientific research.
