This study aims to improve student biology learning outcomes using mind mapping techniques and develop mind mapping learning techniques in improving student learning outcomes. The method used in this research is classroom action research with data collection obtained through tests and questionnaires. The research subjects are students of class X MAN 2 Cilegon City. The results showed that student learning outcomes increased by 43.74%. The percentage of students who finished studying was 28.13% at the end of the first cycle and 71.87% at the end of the second cycle. Then the results of the mind mapping assessment made by students in learning biology were obtained: mind mapping in the first cycle an average score of 69.3% with a sufficient score, and mind mapping in the second cycle an average score of 72.25% with a score of 72.25%. good. Student responses to learning with mind mapping learning techniques are very positive.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi siswa menggunakan teknik mind mapping dan mengembangkan teknik pembelajaran mind mapping dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pengambilan data diperoleh melalui tes dan angket.Subyek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X MAN 2 Kota Cilegon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 43,74%. Persentase siswa yang tuntas belajar sebesar 28,13% pada akhir siklus I dan 71,87% pada akhir siklus II . Kemudian hasil penilaian mind mapping yang dibuat siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi diperoleh: mind mapping pada siklus I skor rata-rata persentase nilai 69,3% dengan nilai cukup, dan mind mapping pada siklus II skor rata-rata persentase nilai 72,25% dengan nilai baik. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan teknik belajar mind mapping sangat positif.
