This study aims to provide an action for the supervision of the principal on the implementation of the main tasks of teachers at SMAS Adhyaksa 1 Jambi in the odd semester of the academic year 2019/2020 through a series of treatments in two cycles. This research method is CAR (Classroom Action Research). The study population used all teachers at SMAS Adhyaksa 1 Jambi in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year and the subjects of this study were 21 teachers. The results of the study prove that the implementation of the supervision of the principal can improve the implementation of the main tasks.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan tindakan supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap pelaksanaan tugas pokok guru di SMAS Adhyaksa 1 Jambi semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2019/2020 melalui serangkaian perlakuan dalam dua siklus. Metode penelitian ini adalah PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). Populasi penelitian menggunakan seluruh guru di SMAS Adhyaksa 1 Jambi semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dan subjek penelitian ini yaitu 21 orang guru. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi kepala sekolah dapat meningkatkan pelaksanaan tugas pokok.
