The effect of subclinical hypothyroidism on glucose and lipid metabolism in obese children is controversial. This study aims to compare cardiovascular risk factors in obese patients with or without subclinical hypothyroidism and determine the frequency of subclinical hypothyroidism in obese children and adolescents.
