Otosclerosis is an underlying disease of the bony labyrinth that results in hearing loss. In some cases, the involvement of the bony part of the cochlea results in mixed hearing loss. The aim of this analysis was to seek a correlation between the results of speech audiometry tests and the changes in bone-conduction thresholds observed after surgical treatment.
