One of the sources of noise is transport. This article shows studies of vehicle traffic flows and provides a principle for selecting an assortment of noise-proof strips of green spaces in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan. The most effective noise protection strips are made from plants of large-sized, fast-growing breeds with a densely branching, low-hanging dense crown.
