The article reveals the main problems of large cities: social, transport, environmental. The latest foreign experience in the development of the underground public space of large cities from local architectural objects to the general plans of underground spaces is summarized. On the examples of world experience, the sphere of landscape design and agro landscape in underground urbanism is considered separately.
