Urban planning cannot exist outside of society and its evolution. That is why the transformation of society always influences urban planning science by stimulating new tasks, approaches, and, as a consequence, terminology. Knowledge of current terminology is extremely important for a conscious understanding of the processes taking place in modern urban planning. Public mobilization as a result of the widespread introduction of social networks and modern technologies leaves a serious imprint on modern urban planning technologies to transform the existing urban environment. Participation is an integral part of the modern project approach in non-CIS countries, and is actively developing and approbation in the CIS (including Kazakhstan).
