The article discusses the results of the application of diallel analysis in the study of the biochemical composition of grain of self-pollinated maize lines. The average values of the content of protein, fat, fiber, ash, and BEV in the grain were noted. The effects of the general combinational ability and the dispersion of the specific combinational ability of the lines according to the studied features are revealed. Keywords: CORN, LINE, HYBRIDS, VARIABILITY, GCA, SCA, DIALLEL ANALYSIS
