The concept of fate luck and destiny, the philosophy of Jabr-O-Qadar in other words the philosophy of destiny remained very significant and to some extent a controversial subject of debate among the muslim thinkers, writers and philosophers in particular and it remained a hot subject of discussion among the world intelligentsia as a general as well. A number of schools of thought along with individual scholars approached that particular subject with their own specific ideas and interpretations by presenting their logic, evidences and explanations having the fact that all referred the Holly Quran as a fundamental source of inspiration. It has also been explained that to what extent the humanity may depend on its free will and despite of the Almighty Allah's decision of destiny for the human being. What a person can do with his free will in this world and what he can't do. What is the real status of luck and fate and what is the true sprits of the concept of destiny in the context of Quranic verses and to what extent the various Islamic schools of thought represent the true Quranic spirits. To explain and elaborate all these concepts the Quranic verses have been given and analyzed in this paper.
