In the article, the authors consider the negative trends that arise in the process of implementing gender policy in Ukraine. These are common myths and stereotypes concerning gender equality. The authors also focus on the international obligations of Ukraine in the field of equal rights and opportunities for women and men.Key words: European integration, gender equality, equal rights and opportunities for women and men.
