The article substantiates the factors preventing gender conflicts in military teams. It is proved that the main one of them is the destruction of old gender stereotypes. Linguistic explanations of their effect are given; types of possible gender conflicts in military units are modelled and ways to prevent them are proposed.Key words: gender conflict, gender stereotypes, types of conflicts, conflict prevention.
