The article reflects on the integrated lessons, their peculiarities andconnection to students’ holistic worldview. The idea of the integrated lessonscame forward in the 19th century, and it was studied by a number ofresearchers. Even Comenius spoke about the importance of utilizing theinterdisciplinary connections. These lessons create interdisciplinaryconnections allowing the students to analyze, find parallels and see thesurrounding world from different perspectives united rather than separated. The students develop a holistic worldview. Our research points out thatthough integrated lessons are not widespread yet, they are effective in thelearning process and are mainly well received by the students.
