The current article discusses the main types of key performanceindicators (KPIs) of human resources (HR) of higher education institutions(HEIs). KPIs defined for the evaluation of HEIs' HR performance can helpHEIs to identify and indicate the current and potential problems relating theirHR activities and to provide timely and targeted solutions to them. Theselection of specific types of KPIs should derive from the peculiarities andstrategies of HEIs. Based on the results of literature review and research of differentperformance measurement tools, specific types and respective examples ofHR KPIs have also been provided in the article, which can guide HEIs(including HEIs of the Republic of Armenia) to (re)elaborate and improve theirHR performance evaluation processes.
