Content\ud-\udcentric networking (CCN) is one of th\ude major proposals for realizing\udinformation\ud-\udcentric\udnetworking.\udCCN routers cache\udforwarded data in a buffer memory called the ContentStore\ud(CS).\udVirtual\udcontent\ud-\udcentric networking (VCCN), which enables the construction of\udmultiple virtual networks (called\udVCCN slices) on a content\ud-\udcentric network,\udhas been recently proposed.\udWhen mult\udiple VCCN slices are\udconstructed, the performance of each VCCN slice\udand that of the entire network are strongly affected by the\udCCN routers' CS\udallocation to VCCN router instances in VCCN slices.\udIn this paper, we analyze the effects\udof CS allocation meth\udods and content\udrequest patterns in VCCN slices on the performance of each VCCN\udslice and that\udof the entire network.\udThrough several numerical examples, we show that when content\udrequest patterns\udare heterogeneous, a hybrid resource allocation method is e\udffective in terms of\udboth\udnetwork fairness for VCCN slices and overall network performance
