On February, 16, 2006, the website PLAntennamen in de Nederlandse Dialecten was launched (,,plant names in the Dutch dialects, or PLAND), which contains over 300.000 tokens, and which is potentially the biggest database of its kind worldwide. This paper provides a description of the history of PLAND, its contents and the interface.
