Vygotsky e múltiplas representações: leituras convergentes para o ensino de ciências

This paper presents a discussion centered on the theme of\udVygotsky's language and thought in order to show that the author's\udviews on the matter are that underlie the arguments that support\udthe framework of multimode and multiple representations. Just\udover a decade in development, the research program of multimode\udand multiple representations hás been showing progressive,\udguaranteed completion by both the international scope of their\udresearch and the breadth of issues involved in dealing with Science\udand Math education. As the Semiotics Theory that supports this\udresearch program and Psychology that supports the Vygotskian\udstudies, this makes the latter almost always absent in reference to\udthe first. However, multimode and multiple representations\udframework make assertions that prove compatible with Vygotsky's\udposition regarding the inseparable interdependence between\udlanguage and thought. Thus, based on this interdependence, the\udpaper discusses and points out that the use of many languages, in\udits various representations, defended by multimodal and multiple\udrepresentations reference, is consistent and convergent with the\udVygotskian reading on the subject.Este trabalho traz uma reflexão centrada no tema linguagem e pensamento de Vygotsky, com o objetivo de mostrar que pontos de vista do autor sobre o assunto se encontram subjacentes às argumentações que sustentam o referencial de multimodos e múltiplas representações. Há pouco mais de uma década em desenvolvimento, o programa de pesquisa de multimodos e múltiplas representações vem se mostrando progressivo, conclusão garantida, tanto pela abrangência internacional de suas pesquisas como pela amplitude no trato das questões envolvidas com a educação científica e matemática. Por ser a semiótica a teoria que ampara esse programa de pesquisa e a psicologia a que ampara os estudos vygotskianos, o que faz com que, quase sempre, estes últimos estejam ausentes nas referências do primeiro. Todavia, o referencial de multimodos e múltiplas representações faz afirmações que se revelam compatíveis com a posição de Vygotsky no que toca a indissociável interdependência entre linguagem e pensamento. Assim, com base nessa interdependência, o trabalho discute e aponta que o uso de variabilidade de linguagens, nas suas mais diversas representações, defendido pelo referencial multimodal e de múltiplas representações, é compatível e convergente com a leitura vygotskiana sobre o tema.CNPqFundação Araucári
