Indicativos da produção científica para a educação dos bebês e crianças bem pequenas no contexto da educação infantil

The present text is the result of a master's degree research, which had the objective of analyzing the indicatives for teaching with babies and very small children from the Brazilian scientific production registered in the thesis and dissertations bank of CAPES (2008 - 2011). Thus, a mapping of the national production that had as a focus of concern the education of children from zero to three years of age in the context of pre-school education, totaling 48 works, of which 13 constituted the definitive corpus analyzed. From the corpus, the following categories of analysis emerged: 1) Studies on teacher specificity; 2) Studies on the pedagogical practices; 3) Studies on child development; 4) Studies on the social role of daycares and the relationship with the family. As one of the results of the research, it is possible to highlight the organization of times and spaces as an important element that characterizes the teaching specificity with this age group
