Banco de prática de responsabilbidade social na área de Biblioteconomia

The database of social responsibility experiences in Librarianship is the first work result of a research “Library as a practice of social responsibility”. The objective of this project is to make an analysis and reflection regarding the creation process and/or development of libraries as a result of social responsibility actions developed by private companies in Brazil. In order to systematize the experiences during this research, it was necessary develop a tool to manage and classify the collected data regarding this subject in order to speed up the analysis. This paper presents methodological alternatives for construction of this database, development of criteria to define data inputs and monitoring the outcoming result. We hope that this tool helps to build indicators for future research in Librarianship area, considering that in Brazil there is a big lack of organized and easy-access data of Librarianship project
