Monitoring construction activities is very much essential in order to make sure that the construction done is safe and is of good quality. Due to lack of proper supervision in construction activities may lead to faulty construction, which may be disastrous at times. Telemonitoring is the use of information technology to monitor something from a distant place. There are some important construction activities like shuttering, bar binding, concreting which can be monitored by a supervisor who is situated from a distant place using video call of smart phones. In this process,2 persons are required.1 person is required to be present at the construction site with a smart phone with a working camera and the other person (or the supervisor) in a distant location is required to possess a smart phone with the working drawings of the construction activities. In this paper, we will see how a supervisor from a distant place can check the shuttering and bar binding work done using smart phone. And how he also can monitor the concrete being prepared using smart phone, if it is done at site. The supervisor can also monitor whether the concreting, masonry work is being done properly or not using smart phone.
