The transition Metal ion chelates of Cu+2 and Ni+2 is synthesized by using2-(2´-hydroxy-3´-methyl phenyl)-4-bromo-6-ethoxy benzothiazolyl hydrazones and characterized by different analytical procedure and spectral study. These metal ion chelates are insoluble in common organic solvents. Infrared spectrum showed the bonding through azomethizine N and ring N.
