In this era of information, a bulk amount of data is being generated. It is challenging to the decision maker to process the huge amount of data within the given period of time using the traditional tools and techniques. The paper discusses mobile and wireless networks in terms of services, technical evolution, and related issues. Industries such as transportation and logistics, financial services, health services, and many others should be able to improve their performance by implementing wireless mobile technologies. Big Data not only refers to huge volume of data but also numerous variety and velocity i.e., the speed of data processing. In order to effectively handle and extract the knowledge and value from the given datasets, modern methods and tools must be used by the organisations for Big Data processing. As a result, the key aspect for the organisations to disclose the concealed information and pull off the competitive advantage in the business is Big Data Analytics.
