The authors report a new case of Shulman syndrome revealed by limping in a 42-years old patient. The general condition was normal; on examination all movements of the left hip were limited. Cutaneous examination revealed a scleroderma-like subcutaneous induration on the left thigh. There was no sclerodactyly and no subcutaneous calcinosis. The rest of the physical examination was normal.
