The MISTLETOE (Minimally Invasive Surgical Techniques -Laser, EndoThermal Or Endoresection) study of 10,000 patients provides a national database against which local practice can be compared. Mr Said, associate specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology, and Mr Hussein, consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, who have been using this technique since 1992 at Furness General Hospital (FGH), compare their results with the standard.
