Modern tourism is not includes only religious and personal tourism but also business tourism, internationaltourism and intelligence tourism. Pilgrimage tourism plays very important role in tourism sector. “Religioustourism” highlights the travels triggered by religious sentiments. Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Jainism, Buddhism,people with Heart beliefs in religion travel to different places quite regularly. Millions of people all over the worldundertake annual pilgrimages to different places of worship. This paper deals with relation between Educationand tourists’ perception about pilgrimage tourism of North Gujarat region. North Gujarat is also having manypilgrimage cities so it is become very important to know the perception about pilgrimage tourism with referenceto North Gujarat.
