The assault on the environment is one of the most serious problems facing the world, as it threatens life in an environment that is supposed to ensure a healthy life in the present and in the future. The problem of environmental pollution and compromising its safety is not a recent matter, but the severity of the pollution and the acceleration of the expansion of its field is the matter. This research is not related the international conferences and treaties that have established mechanisms to protect the environment, but it is related to Algerian law and the mechanisms that it has put in place to preserve a healthy environment. There is no doubt that protecting the environment has become more than necessary. This is what led the Algerian legislator to issue many laws that contain texts to protect the environment and texts to criminalize in the event of assaulting it.
