The study aimed to reveal the degree of the school’s contribution to the development of citizenship values among students in the Sultanate of Oman from the teachers’ point of view and its relationship to some variables. The researcher prepared a questionnaire tool to achieve the objectives of the study, which in its final form consisted of (43) phrases, divided into five areas: national affiliation, citizenship rights, national identity, duties and responsibilities, community and political participation. After verifying its validity and reliability, it was applied to a sample consisting of (115) senior teachers(male and female), and from (225) male and female teachers. The results of the study showed that the degree of the school’s contribution to the development of citizenship values among students in the Sultanate of Oman from the teachers’ point of view came to a medium degree, as the arithmetic mean reached(3.26). Moreover, the results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences between the degree of the school's contribution to the development of students' citizenship values due to the variable of the type of school and the variable of the job. The researcher recommended the necessity of building educational content related to the principles and values of citizenship, training teachers to understand what citizenship is, its dimensions and principles, how to provide it to students, and urging teachers to adopt citizenship as a thought and practice in the school.
