The parameters of the cargo base are the main ones for the development of strategic decisions on the formation of transport routes, the development of the necessary types and types of transport, as well as terminal facilities. In Siberia, a reliable basis for solving such problems is data on the potential of the mineral resource base. In this aspect, the article examines in detail the Arctic territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the prerequisites for the development of transport and logistics routes in this territory, and also notes the shortcomings in the development of the transport system of the Krasnoyarsk Arctic, expressed in the presence of almost exclusively seasonal routes with a predominance of river and sea transport, the lack of alternatives to existing transport schemes and an extremely high level of transport costs. Based on the conducted research, promising routes for cargo transportation from the Arctic territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory were identified.
