The focus of research is on strategies to improve academic services and how employee performance in the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of IAIN Lhokseumawe. This research is descriptive qualitative field research, data collection is done through documentation, observation, and interview techniques. The procedure used in analyzing data using a summary of strategic factor analysis uses Dessler's theory which includes quality, quantity, effectiveness, independence, and timeliness. Research subjects were the Head of Academic General Subdivision, Academic Staff, and FTIK students. The results showed that academic services have not shown satisfactory performance stability, so strategies are needed to improve performance. The preparation of the strategy is preceded by a SWOT analysis. Through the results of the analysis can be identified a variety of causative factors which can be categorized into two internal and external factors. Internal factors such as physical facilities, reliability, confidence, and empathy. While external factors include political and economic trends, stakeholder support, and the role of collaborators and competitors.
