Une analyse de la position des professeurs d'universite´ dans la hie´rarchie des revenus prive´s au Que´bec?

This article presents evidence on Quebec university professors salaries and their growth since 1972. Then, with the help of Consumer Finance Surveys, data on the distribution of household private income is assembled for different years. The mean salaries of university professors are used to position them in these income distributions. The paper provides a discussion of their position which is in the top groups in terms of earned income.
