The article discusses the mathematical modeling of the intensification of convective heat transfer of a smooth tube bundle. Turbulators with cutouts were used as heat transfer intensifiers. The mathematical model of the heat exchanger consisted of a section of a rectangular channel with a turbulator device. To solve the differential equation, the finite difference method was used, approximated by difference equations. On the basis of the calculations, for the purpose of choosing the size of the experimental object, the profiles of the velocity distribution before and after the turbulizer were obtained.
