The purpose of this research is to know the frequency of sepsis deaths in administrative periods of health in the country, indicate associated factors, calculate the maternal mortality rate (MMR), analyze their historical evolution in the Maternity “Concepción Palacios” and formulate preventive strategies. A descriptive, retrospective and analytical study were carried out, a type of documentary research, under a mixed paradigm.
